My 3d printer have two positions need belt tensioner. One position is perpendicular to the aluminum bar and the other position is along the aluminum bar. So I plan to design and make one to solve that problem.
This is a belt tension structure along the aluminum bar, the structure also has two similar parts.
Because the print sample uses a slightly low infill parameter, the 3D printed structure after actual assembly is broken when the m3 screw is screwed in. After calibration, the 3D printed model became more solid.
The remaining parts were 3D printed. The belt tension adjustment screw is an M4 screw and only needs 1 screw.
This is a 3d printed sample of the gt2 belt tension position in the perpendicular direction to the 2020 aluminum profile bar. It works and is a bit lackluster due to the fact that I used a glue when 3D printing.
This structure consists of two parts: part 1 holds the belt and part 2 secures the gt2 belt and there are 4 m3 screws to adjust the belt tension as needed.
