Description

I’ve always been captivated by visuals animated by music in real-time and have participated in various VJ networks over the years. Currently, I’m affiliated with Berlin’s 'AVJam' network, where I wanted to contribute an exciting exhibit for their monthly meetings. This inspired me to create an audio-reactive LED matrix! The project combines 3D-printed parts—a base with rails for LED strips and seven hollow reflector sections—with WS2812 LED strips to create vibrant colors. At its core is my self-developed 'Tiny Blinky' control board, which features an onboard microphone to capture audio signals. The 'Tiny Blinky' is available on Tindie if you're interested in building something similar. The finished matrix measures 23 x 23 cm and delivers stunning, sound-reactive animations.
