I've come to notice that I've never seen Quick Charge technology in a PC. Whilst it's a common technology, I don't know why it hasn't been implemented onto motherboards!
So I bought a 12v car charger with Quick Charge. I cut the 12v wires from an used SATA connection, soldered them to the car charger and covered it in heatshrink to prevent it touching the motherboard. And that's how I installed Quick Charge technology in my desktop! It was 10 minute job so only have 3 photos of the process!

Looking at the stats, that does not quick charge. I cannot see a QC IC on the board, and the specs say it only outputs 5v @ 1.5A. Most Chinese ebay listings lie or misname their products.
