Description

MeshWalkie: A handheld Compact Wireless Multi-Tool for Lora and Hackers.
It also is a ready-to-use individual Meshtastic and Wi-Fi devices. It's fully open-source and customizable. So you can extend it in whatever way you like.

  • 1 × UV-K6 enclosure (Enclosure ONLY)
  • 1 × ESP32-S3-WROOM-1
  • 1 × Wio-SX1262 lora module
  • 1 × L76K GNSS module
  • 1 × 128*64 LCD with ST7565 controller

hello, your project is really interesting! My 2 cents will be about including M17 to the board and LoRa at 433MHz for us amateur radio that can use more power in this band, please.

Very impressive ! Is there any gain after the SX1262? What kind of range does it give? By the way, it's only for textual exchanges, right? You input the text via keyboard?

You took a UV-K6, removed the internal components, fabricated your own PCB, and put it back in the enclosure? Impressive!
What was the motivation to use the same enclosure instead of a 3D printed enclosure?

Yes, i only use the enclosure of UV-K6.

The reason is the molding is too expensive, for about over 20k USD.

And the 3D printed is not rugged enough. Maybe it can be a prototype, not end 

product.
