I think I need a new design that:

• Is not an imitation of the official one.

• References traditional codegrabbers.

• Is practical, simple, and suitable both for quick prototyping and production.

• Is easily modifiable.

• Is compact, “basic”, yet cool and cute.
  In the end, I decided to go with the traditional “Game Boy” style, which meets all the above + is an absolute classic belonging to the same traditional line as, for example, the “Nokia 3310” or “TV remote” design.
