    Scanned the plates. Plate thickness is 0.75 to 0.83 mm. Each plate was scanned and plotted in Fusion. There’s some wiggle in the dot positions. Some look deliberate, like the dots on plate 1 being either side of the centre. Other times it looks like the machine or pantograph slipped. Either way, they’re plotted in the SVGs exactly as they appear in reality without any corrections.

    Each dot is engraved from the rear side of the plate. Using a microscope and a graduated slide, I measured that the dots and they are cut to about half the plate thickness (0.4 to 0.5 mm) with a 60° bit, which gives a dot size of about 0.6 mm.

    alternate plates come from top bottom, there are 12 slots in the lamp assembly with holes for lamps in each, but in this one only 10 plates that are used for digits 0-9 (other models have decimal and comma), plate order as shown
