The Skoog Buoy is an industrial infrastructure solution for the global water crisis. This zero-electricity, zero-brine system is built for 40, 50 years of operation. Using a 1,000m thermal liana, it harnesses deep-sea cold for passive water-from-air generation. The strategy is direct-to-production, which has already been initiated in various locations worldwide despite the recent launch, to reach the 3.2 billion people lacking stable water access. This 100% Open Source architecture serves as the technical Source of Truth for engineering firms globally. We invite collaborators and partners to help implement this solution and secure water for all future generations.
