So going forward i decided to think thru what i want to achieve and how to do. 

I decided on following requirements.

-Input voltage 3-20V

-Current capability 6A total

-OVP, over voltage protection

-Wrong polarity protection

-Charging negotiation at 5V

-OVP protection manually controlled if needed.

-Fit most power supplies in terms of binding post distance.
