After all of this time, this is the first printer to finally be made. The picture has the bed hidden. This taught a lot, namely that Z alignment of the rods is critical and adjustment more so. Also that stepper torque is not as much as it seems. The XY works fine enough, but I really did not make the X mounts strong enough as they bend upward from tension. I gave this away to a coworker despite how much this actually cost (too much).
