Originality, Jurisdiction, and IP Concerns

This design was independently developed in Europe based on publicly observable functional requirements, general tabletop design principles, and prior designs in the field. The CAD files, dimensions, implementation, and documentation in this repository are my own unless otherwise stated.

This project is inspired by the general concept of 3D-printable tabletop design.

To the best of my knowledge, no European patent, registered design, or other European exclusive right covers this design. A U.S. patent or U.S. design patent may exist, but no rights are granted for making, using, selling, offering for sale, or importing this design in the United States.

Users are responsible for checking whether making, using, modifying, selling, importing, or distributing this design is lawful in their own jurisdiction.

I respect valid intellectual property rights in the jurisdictions where they apply. However, rights are territorial. A patent, design patent, registered design, or similar right in one country does not automatically create rights in another country.

FrameTop is an independently designed modular tabletop system released under the GNU GPL v3.0 open-source license. All files are freely available for the community to access, use, study, modify, and redistribute in accordance with the terms of that license. All design files and accompanying documentation are independent created from available images all over the interwebs.
