I had this idea for quite a while - to design a flexible single line display out of tiny LEDs.
So finally I've done it - this is the resulting 8x96 LED matrix display:

Got it recently from one of the PCB/PCBA manufacturer - my intention is to use it in some of my future projects - I have a couple of ideas. Each LED is in 0201 package (0.65x0.35mm), the active display area is also exactly 8x96mm.
