Magnetron Geoscanner Basic V2 is a portable magnetic field imaging system developed for geophysical exploration, education, research, and experimental magnetic surveys.

The system combines dual high-sensitivity fluxgate magnetometers, a 16-bit ADS1115 analog-to-digital converter, Arduino Nano control electronics, and an ESP32-S3 touchscreen interface.

Unlike conventional magnetic survey instruments that require post-processing on a computer, Magnetron Basic V2 generates real-time magnetic heatmaps directly on its integrated display.

The user can scan an area using adjustable measurement grids, instantly visualize magnetic anomalies, and store measurement data on a microSD card. The collected data can later be analyzed using the custom Magnetron PC Suite software.

Main Features

This project represents the first portable generation of the Magnetron Geoscanner platform. Future developments include advanced multi-sensor systems, drone-based magnetic survey platforms, marine applications, and custom professional solutions.
