One of the main advantages of the Magnetron Geoscanner Basic V2 is its ability to generate magnetic heatmaps directly on the integrated display.
Unlike traditional magnetic survey tools that require transferring raw data to a computer before visualization, the user can see magnetic variations immediately during field scanning.
The system supports adjustable scan grids from 4×4 to 7×7, allowing both quick surveys and more detailed magnetic mapping.
After scanning is completed, measurement data can be saved to a microSD card as CSV files and analyzed further using the custom Magnetron PC Suite software.
The PC software provides advanced visualization tools including:
- Smooth heatmap generation
- Cubic and linear interpolation
- Multiple color maps
- Iso-line contour visualization
- Single and multi-scan comparison
- PNG image export
This combination allows users to move from field measurement to detailed desktop analysis with a simple workflow.
