I was given this vape to quit smoking. It has a bunch of neat features including bluetooth, a calculator, a few games, a calendar, a mic, speaker, usb-c charging, and interestingly enough, a touchscreen.
It is now spent and would be normally discarded. I had originally considered adding a larger capacity battery to the case and call it a day.
But I realized that it doesn't need to stay in its original form factor and that it could possibly made into a robust BT speaker with possible larger speakers, battery capacity with a touch screen!
The goal of the project is to remove all components from the original case, discard vape components and case and design a new enclosure that would support a set of larger speakers and batteries.
I am going to be using batteries from 2-3 Foger disposable vapes to replace the original.
I do not know if i will need any other components, but I am considering an amplifier.
I am looking at amplifiers, and I've decided to leave it mono with one speaker and maybe have the design be a cube for the enclosure.
At the moment there isnt a way to modify the firmware that i know of, although that would be neat.
This vape retails now for 24.99, Im not throwing away 25 bucks because its empty.

Got a pic of the other side of the board?
Looks like there's an i2c port in those test points... SDA and SCL. Then you've got CS and DO that could be another serial port. Throw a scope or a logic analyzer on those and see what you get!
