Right to Repair is an important movement right now. Why is it important? Ask this guy:
Spearheaded by orgs such as EFFand iFixit, this has been a game-changing movement that gives power back to customers to repair and maintain the things we purchase.
The environmental harms we reduce by repairing our belongings cannot be overstated.
The USA generates 3.2 Million Tons of E-Waste per year. Much of that is discarded electronics that could have otherwise been repaired.
Let's keep our stuff working! We do not have to let large multi-national conglomerates lock us out of our own purchases. Where there is a lock, there is always a hack. and sometimes the hack is a social movement! :)
