TypixDeck is a pocket-sized cyberdeck designed from scratch -- schematic, PCB layout, firmware, and mechanical shell. Not a Raspberry Pi bolted into an off-the-shelf case. ## The stack Three boards connected by FPC, no bulky connectors: - Core Board -- Raspberry Pi CM4/CM5 on SODIMM, ESP32-S3 co-processor, USB2514B 4-port hub, TPS61088 boost, INA219 x2 + MAX17048 power telemetry, M.2 2230 NVMe slot - Keyboard Board -- STM32F042 running a 6x13 matrix, 1.47" status LCD (JD9853A), rotary encoder, PWM backlight - Screen/Audio Board -- SSS1629A5 USB audio codec, APA2068 + PAM8406 amps, stereo MEMS mics Main display: 3.2" 1024x768 panel (JD9168S) over DPI, GT911 capacitive multitouch. ## The interesting part: a discrete RGB DPI bus MUX The CM and the ESP32-S3 both drive the *same* parallel RGB panel. The ESP32 paints a boot screen before Linux is up, then hands the bus over once the Pi takes control.
