I've gotten a few requests lately about using this to desalinate saltwater. In my many travels around the web I ran into this the other day, so I thought I'd share. It's talking about a paper just published this year, and it may point to something we want to try.

I found the entire paper and I'm still going through it to see what we can glean from it, but it looks promising so far.
