Our solution is titled “SIRATE” which stands for SIgn RAdio TEchnology. This project is one of the derivatives of Internet of Things context. This basic idea is to integrate Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID) to ensure the communication between car and sign so that the driver can be notified, each time a new road sign appears. For this purpose, the car must be equipped with RFID reader, while an RFID tag is attached on the road sign itself.
