This concept is about embedding a heater element inside the pcb design itself. Tested successfully with oshpark 2 and 4 layer designs. Rolling out to more adventurous form factors.
The big advantage is its quick and uses very low energy, which can typically be supplied by a USB-A port (for compact designs).
This is an awesome and unique concept. Would be interested to see a video of a board reflowing. What kind of power draw do you design around?

Thanks Zakqwy. So far, this is what I'm targetting
* 2.5 watts - USB-A friendly - good for single chip breakouts like shown
* 12 watts - USB-A chargepacks and PSUs rated at 5v 2.4A - for bigger boards
* 15 watts - SATA 3v3 rail - lower voltage is friendly for the buried trace size
