This project was started as our senior project but we'd like to keep working on it and see what more it can do. The current car detector is a raspberry pi with a NIR Camera Module running OpenCV. Each device is network enabled in order to connect to a central server, which collects and analyzes parking data in order to eventually make predictions on parking availability based on this data as well as weather and local/campus events.
