I can't see the advantage of this over magazine paper, which is free and works well.

I tried this out, but the result was a disaster. The image appeared on the board was useless:

The PCB doesn't appear to be clean. It has to be very, very clean and no residue on it at all. Use Isopropyl alcohol and a clean cotton rag or paper towel as a last step.

Thanks, I'll try this. My cleaning process was good enough for the normal toner transfer. It looks not good enough for the kapton.
