Description

I happen to own a FSLaser 5th Gen Hobby 45Watt Laser, I have an Etsy store where I sell various laser etched mirrors and items. I decided to mess with a Mirror and a cheap Ebay EL-Panel. This is my result. I'm still working on a circuit with a photo-diode to control the inverter so that it automatically turns off during the day and when it gets dark enough turns on, and NO I'm not going to use a micro-controller....

If you are interested in purchasing one of these mirrors etched from me let me know on here and I will add them to my Etsy store for around 10USD each! (Plus shipping because I'm in Canada and shipping is expensive here.)

I found my photo-resistor, In darkness its around 100K Ohms, in light its around 4K Ohms. In the Circuit picture that I have attached the 104K Ohm resistor is the photo-resistor. Its a Simple circuit made with spare parts I had kicking around. The little black base is made from a power supply for a laptop that I had gutted for powering a cap bank that I haven't finished. And yes the EL-Panel is duct-taped to the back of the mirror.
