This tool is used to scratch copper left between the tracks after PCB etching

While building PCBs at home sometimes there could be chances when a small amount of copper used to left in between the tracks after the etching process using ferric chloride. This tool can be used to remove such copper patches between the tracks to avoid short circuits.

It is very easy to build and use only two components to build same - The needle from the disposable syringe and lead pencil
  • 1 × Disposable Syringe
  • 1 × Lead Pencil please see picture for same
  • 1 × Instant Adhesive

    Step 1

    Remove the needle attached to syringe and cutoff the plastic part from the needle...

    Open the cap of lead pen and insert the needle in the cap with the sharp edge pointing outside...

    Step 3

    Make sure the needle is visible out of the cap at desired length and glue it using the instant adhesive (or any other glue you have which can hold steel and plastic together)...
