Last 3 electronic components was tested with whole system.

HTU21D - humidity and high precision temperature sensor in one IC

MMA8451 - Triple-Axis Accelerometer w/ 14-bit ADC

nRF8001 - Bluetooth Low Energy IC with SPI interface

From tomorrow I'm starting PCB design in Eagle. I'm gonna keep you updated about PCB progress as well.

Why a humidity sensor? Could that act as a hydration sensor, to see how hydrated the body is from the inside? Definitely curious.

Humidity sensor (HTU21D) for safety, if humidity level rises inside enclosure, that means it is time to remove the device.

Not a biologist, but I imagine that the hydration of the tissue where this will be implanted is regulated by the body, so it would be impossible to measure the whole body's hydration level from there.
