As a DIY drone developer i found current drone development kit too complex and too messy with cables. I decided to make a Pixhawk Cube based Autopilot with all the required sensors built-in and I added Raspberry Pi Computer module 3 as compoanion computer to make it easy to run code inside RPI in the air . It has Ublox M8N GPS module, Microhard telemetry module, Airspeed sensor , and RPI CM3. Also it has CSi camera port and many GPIO pins from RPI and from Cube to make hardware conection easier. for more info check
