I am interested in extracting any interesting patterns in daily indoor activity using the statistics of easily available environmental data (such as levels of light, sound noise, heating, etc). Although it is a trivial task to gather such data, I am quite fed up of loosely connected sensors, wires and overall "prototyping" mess.
I am developing soulboX as a programmable multisensor unit, which can display, log and wirelessly send sensor data.
- really small and LiPo-powered, so that I could easily place soulboX everywhere in the room
- low cost, so that I could build and use many soulboXes in different rooms
- modular. soulboX is ment to be "sandwich" - one unit may have the basic core sensors as temperature and humidity, whereas others might have an extra light and sound sensors, or lcd display for real time plots (why not?)
