On occasion, I have been the unfortunate recipient of a few poorly home brewed drinks. Its not like my 'friends' aren't trying their best. Sometimes, it just doesn't go well. Its hard to convince yourself, "this one didn't go well," and throw out several hours of work and product.
The whole brewing process can be a bit touchy at times and a simple mistake might cost you an entire batch. Problems can arise at any stage from: not sterilizing well enough, not keeping within appropriate temperature ranges, bleeding off too much or too little gas, not adding ingredients at correct times, etc...
I intend to eliminate as much possible human error as I can, while still keeping the 'fun' in the hobby. There are many automated approaches to brewing at home and many of them are Arduino based. I want to build from the ground up. I want to marry my two hobbies. I want to share it with you.
Join me as I (slowly) develop my largest, and first public, project.
