Description

Smart Home automation systems are becoming a rising commercial consumer product in today's market. The ease of living duties, home security, and luxury provided gives users the satisfaction of total domestic control-ability. With the rise of the Internet of Things(IoT) and the maker revolution, Smart Home systems have become a more accessible, modifiable, and popular technology amongst hobbyist and makers. The goal of the Innotronics Innohome system was to build off this rising technology to make a cheap, autonomous, and user friendly home automation system to enhance the comfort of a home, office, and/or business. The Innohome system provides a hybrid control system that lets the user either control his/her home from a mobile/PC application or put the house into an autonomous self-control mode. The key features provided are assisted door opening, automatic temperature control with the utility of fans, and a hybrid control lighting system.

Instructions
1. Attach Audio mezzanine board to Dragonboard
2. Wire LCD display, photoresistor, LED, force sensor, servo, and motor using the diagram provided in the photos section
3. Connect Arduino to Dragonboard via UArt connection
4. Upload code to Arduino and Dragonboard
5. Explore features such as hands-free entry, automatic climate control, and automatic in-home lighting
