Arduino is an open source hardware platform for making interactive objects that can sense and control the physical world.

This project was created on 12/19/2014 and last updated 4 months ago.

Description

ESP8266 WiFi modules are cheap (3 USD) and can be used for WiFi sensors. But working with ESP8266 AT commands is not easy. Our goal is to create ESP8266 library which can help to build sensor with couple lines of code. We go beyond simple test example with ESP8266 module.

Components

  • 1 × ESP8266 module
  • 1 × Arduino Pro mini 8Mhz 3.3V
  • 1 × AMS1117 3.3V regualtor
  • 1 × 1000uF capacitor
  • 1 × DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor
