Introduction

Electric Carving Knife Hack

This is Comingle's first reciprocating dildo! We noticed you can find really cheap electric carving knives at like every thrift store. We got two for only six dollars! Using a simple and cheap electric carving knife, you can attain a nice thrusting motion through modifying the original composition of the device. If you find yourself questioning the safety of such methods, don't worry, we got you covered. We released an open-source attachment . This How-to article shows you how to replace or adjust the blade to make a safe fun toy!

NOTE: Again, like with any of our articles, YOU ARE ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY and WELL-BEING. YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING OR INSERTING A DEVICE INTO YOUR BODY. We are just showing you how to do this, so don't do anything stupid :) DON'T PUT KNIVES IN YOUR BODY!

Materials

– Silicone Dildo
– Basic Electric Carving Knife
– Dremel Tool (for dulling down blade)

-Silicone Tape (Helps the attachment stick inside an existing toy!)

Optional: Instead of using a dremel to dull the blade, if you have access to a laser cutter or water jet cutter, you can make your own attachment to replace the carving knife blade entirely. You will need either set of the paired materials listed below.

– Laser Cutter and High Density Plastic (HDPE)
– Water Jet Cutter and Metal

Setup Attachment

Before setting up your reciprocating dildo, you must first modify or replace the electric carving knife's blade attachment.

Dull an existing blade

  • Take the electric carving knife blade and use your dremel tool to completely dull down blade.
  • Insert the modified blade into your electric carving knife's attachment insert.
  • Using a sharp kitchen knife, cut into the bottom of your silicone dildo to make a slit for inserting the modified blade attachment. Be sure to cut an insert deep enough so that your dildo will be securely lodged.
  • Once you have fastened your dildo, you may plug in your electric carving knife to then experiment with!

The universal Open-source attachment

Connecting Dildos

Cut into it

If you have a regular silicone dildo lying around (We have MANY), cut a slot in the back, and stick the attachment into it.

Make Sure to Go Deep Enough!

Using existing holes

Lots of toys have existing holes in the back for putting in a bullet vibe. We have a Tantus toy that we used here by simply wrapping the attachment with some silicone tape to make a nice firm connection.

Experiment!

Now that you have successfully managed to hack an electric carving knife to be used with your dildo, you may safely explore its vibrating and thrusting functions in an enjoyable manner. Mostly any silicone dildo can be used for this pleasurable exploration, including any store bought dildo that you think may need a little extra pep in its abilities!

For anyone who takes the route of cutting a slot in the back, make sure you clean thoroughly inside the slot after every use so bacteria don't breed in there. Source: seeing many silicone objects on /r/whatisthisthing have "sex toy" be discredited as their identity for having small slots/grooves/holes that would provide a place for bacteria to breed if they were sex toys.

Hahhahah It's a much better idea than doing it with an actual blade!
