And now it's been painted in flat black, ready for a fresh coat of paint. 
I'm currently designing a set of gears/tubes/whatever to go under the wings, and protrude out the side ports.

I've often thought this copper tape would look good with steampunk devices.

You could use it to give sections of your backpack a metallic look.
The computer case gives some idea of scale but I'm hoping to talk you into using some other objects/people in future photos to provide a better idea of how big the backpack will be.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this.
