The 7555 timer operates with a frequency based on the resistors chosen. The 7555 chip works the same as the 555 timer. The advantages of the 7555 over the 555 timer include higher frequency, wider voltage range, and lower current draw. The CR-2032 battery supplies the power for the circuit.
