The time consuming part was sewing on the EL wire. The power pack sat in the inside chest pocket, and I cut small holes to feed the wires into the jacket lining. I used clear nail polish on the holes to stop them from fraying. Luckily the fabrics were thick enough so that the EL wire didn't show through. 


There was a small amount of soldering, but the rest was really plug an play. We ran wire from the inverter to where the EL wire should show. The inverter wasn't really powerful enough for all that EL, but with enough batteries it did for the burn week.
