One module contain 128 * 16 bits of ferrite core memory

What's inside? a lot of thin ferrite plates with a lot of holes

For those who cares, this "memory cube" has the absolutely amazing and unbelievable  story. It is too rich to describe it in the comment. It includes Cold War,  spying, betrayal, and love (believe you or not). I came across of it while trying desperately to find any published information on the actual fundamentals of the operation of that device (I bought it on eBay and plan to play with it). Anyway, here is the link for those who are interested. And if anyone is interested on the actual technical info on that cube, just ping me.

The page is in Russian but plug it into Google translate. Scroll down that page and you will see a picture of that memory cube. Once you get the names of the developers from that page you can google further and find English language books etc. That page is just a starting pointer

hello, i also would like to Play with these cubes too. Do you have some technical info on these cubes ? I just have the 2 pages of the document inside the box, but Nothing Else. I just test quickly to see the continuity and got some pulses but i am not sure the are the nominal pulses. Did you make a prototype with them ?
