Shortly after I did this project I got back into it and made a 3D printable blower by copying the design of the CPAP blower in the photos of this project.  I posted the printable blower project to my blog.  That blower uses a motor from a junked hard disk drive, but can easily be adapted to a brushless model airplane motor. 

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has generated a lot of interest in that printable blower for potential use in a DIY/low cost ventilator.  Who would have anticipated that?
