Vertical Blinds Hanger

I made these hangers because they always break and you can only buy in packs of 500 or 1000 pieces. I thought this model will be useful.

Because I am a student, I want to be considered at the student section of the "Repairs you can print", because i'd love to have my own 3D printer.
The original hanger was a bit too thinner and was too flexible.
The second hanger had a too thick hole and the hook couldn't fit in.
The third hanger was perfect. Everything was ok, the hook fitted inside the hole, and was thick enough.

   This project is ongoing because there are diferent types of blinders with different shapes and sizes. I try to find a "middle model" or a adjustable model that will fit in every sinle type of blinder.

    This model was made with Creo Parametric 3.0

     How was this made?

                 I just took a broke Hanger and I measured its lenght and its width, I                                measured its hole to fit the hook in and I started model it on my laptop. When                    I was sure its finish, I turned on 3D printer and I gave it a try.

                  Fortunately the model was a succes and I begun to make more.

      How the idea came out?

      Everything began when I seen there is too much light in my room because a couple of blinders were missing.

    What material i prefer?

    I recommend ABS because is a strong material but works well with any other material.

    Print it with close to 100% infill to be a strong piece.
