We've recently completely re-vamped our designs because we went and spoke to around 50 hand amputees.

It turns out for amputees weight is marginally more important than functionality. Our Dextrus design had far too many components that made it heavy and it took too long to assemble. The Dextrus had great dexterity, it could roll an egg between finger and thumb without cracking it, which is great for the robotics nerd, but not particularly useful for an amputee who is weighed down by it. So, we've sacrificed a little of that advanced functionality for a hand that is funcional and feather-weight, and it only prints in two parts! It's a brilliant solution to long print times, assembly, fitting, and most importantly comfortability!
