Cheap Led tester

Everybody have a lot of USB power supplies. Too much... I used one as Led tester.
You need a standard 12v male plug and an usb charger.

Similar projects worth following
Open your USB charger and remove the female usb with a soldering Iron and a pump, as usual.

Place instead the 12v plug wire and close the box.

That's all. Use the 12v plug as Led tester. Anode in the hole, cathode along the plug. Enjoy! ;D

Right, but in my case, I have only 3v-4,5 v green, blue or white 5mm leds.

With 1,8V leds, your idea is necessary. Précision is necessary.

I have a feeling this may blow up some LEDs depending on the output current of the supply, the current the LED can handle, and the voltage drop of the LED. Might want to toss a current limiting resistor in there.
