A parabolic dish (such as used for spying) is pointed at a source of noise, and focuses on to a piezo. The piezo charges a capacitor that switches a transistor when it reaches capacity and flashes a high power LED at the source of the noise. (see illustration) I don't know much about the required calculations, so i would be grateful if someone can suggest parts.
