DC Buck CC tiny 3A DIY LED power supply

Some time ago we started to use high current LEDs for generic lighting, video lighting and custom made powerful flashlights.

Finding the CC power supply for a specific current, well enough built and tiny footprint has always been a challenge, so finally we decided to roll out our own implementation design,
which turned to be exactly what we needed.

Currently i'm offering units done with scrapped from used motherboards inductors!

Thanks for skull! That's fun to use this efficient tech in your diy projects. that's right, Domen. Depends on your whereabouts. I'd prefer Digikey or aliexpress for most smd components like mp2480 and some low ohm shunt resistors hard to stumble upon occasionally.

Hello. How much does the chip cost and where can I get it? I would like to use it in one of my projects. The datasheet is great but it doesn't tell me where I could buy this chip.

Yep, sure, Mike. if one finds it of interest. It's very simple, everything is described in pdf for the IC, yet i'll post it later on.
