We heard you.

We were covered by Hackaday earlier this year as Parts.io was launching into early alpha stage. The resounding feedback in the comments was "Why do I have to register?"

From there we have made strides towards opening up the site as we could. Getting to the point where we are able to make the full search experience open to the public took some time, but we heard how important it was.

The insider scoop is that we will soon be completely opening to the public in the next few weeks.

No registration required (though it will still be possible and beneficial to do so). Just show up and start searching. Utilize all of the features we have been pushing out into the world for the past 7 months and start finding some great new components.

We won't be sharing this any place other than on the Parts.io Labs page, because we want to hear from all of you first. We appreciated the feedback from the Hackaday community and will continue to focus on the users that are making things and regularly searching for components. If you're not already a member of the Parts.io Labs group on Hackaday.io, we highly encourage joining (click the "Request to join this project" link).
