We thought it would be useful to have a navigation system that can receive destination locations remotely and guid somebody to a destination without them having to look at anything or stop or slow down to read it. We came up with this proof of concept which could be used for military purposes for guiding troupes towards a destination in a situation where they need to move quickly and not be slowed down and not get lost.
It's fairly simple in it's design, it's just 8 motors attached to a belt, all connected to an Arduino that knows its location and bearing and your destination. The Arduino does some calculations and decides which motors to turn on. You simply follow the vibrations.
