I joined a local Meetup group that is decayed to Raspberry pi. They meet once a moth and they have only had 4 meetings so far, also i have only been able to make 2 of the meetings. I went about a week ago and this meeting was about using python the pi and bread board to make a blinking LED then we added a button to the bread board that would work a kill switch for the LED program. we had to install a GPIO library to the Rpi. It was a good project for a short 2hr meeting. Also its great to hang out with people that understand what am a working on if you would like to know more about the group or the built here are some links
