Jo finished the cavity - we can perform the first test probably next week.

The size of the cavity must equate to the focal length of the microwave frequencies or you will get a seriously degraded thrust ratio.

Have you worked out what frequency is required? It is my understanding that reducing the cavity size requires much higher frequencies and therefore far more expensive magnetrons possibly even supercooled

We use a modified radar module with 24GHz, but with quite low output power, the cavity is calculated to match the frequency.

where is the decimal point in the scale photo?  clearly it doesn't weigh 6kg
