A miniature prototype to provide live feed of the temperature, pressure and altitude of a particular place

We will be using the Arduino Uno circuit along with the BMP 180 sensor which detects, air
pressure, temperature and humidity, We will create a program which will display the criteria on
an LCD Display screen and also this program will give suggestions. For example: it is 40°C- this
device will give a suggestions like “A really hot sunny day today, not favorable to go outside”.

This project was contested in SJBHS Transcendence 2017, Bangalore, India (1st place)

Introduction: When we want to check the weather, we always rely on our phones for help.
These phones will take the information from the internet. Our goal is to create a device to
detect the Humidity, Altitude, and temperature content which is also on the whole very
portable.
Problem with weather stations
Portable weather stations are portable devices which can do the same things which were
mentioned in the introduction above. The problem with this is that it is
1. Heavy
2. And very expensive
Our Goal is to create a lightweight and very simple device to measure these stats. 

  • 1 × Arduino uno
  • 10 × Jumper Wires (Male)
  • 2 × 330 ohm resistors
  • 1 × BMP180 sensor
  • 1 × Breadboard Electronic Components / Misc. Electronic Components

    11th November 2017: Project selected to be represented in the inter school Science fest called Transcendence 2017

    Team was approached by Osmosis advertising, Bangalore to present the model in an alternative case.

    9th November 2017: 

     The model is ready but due to time constraints, we will be eliminating the LCD screen
    for the display of data and replace it with displaying from the serial monitor of the Arduino IDE
    on the laptop and also LED lights will be indicating the breach in the increase of temperature
    which is sensed by the BMP180 sensor.
