I wanted some open source hardware breakout boards that I could use for my projects. So far I've made the following boards. If you have ideas for others, drop me a comment.

  • QFN28 - 3mm
  • QFN32 - TQFP32
  • QFN44 - TQFP44
  • SOIC8 - TSSOP8
  • SOIC12 - TSSOP12
  • SOIC14 - TSSOP14
  • SOIC16 - TSSOP16
  • SOIC20 - TSSOP20
  • SOIC28 - TSSOP28
  • SOT23-3 - SOT23-6
  • SOT89
  • SOT223
  • DPAK
  • 1206 and 1206W (good for SMT PTC fuses)

I want to give Adafruit a nod for the inspiration. If you just need a quick fix for a couple of boards and don't want to deal with the lead time for fabrication, their shop is a good place to go.

    Based on the units I received from DirtyPCBs, I narrowed several boards by 0.1" and made several silk screen modifications. I also dropped the version stamp from the file names and the board. I figured for boards this simple, the versioning was more of a PITA than it was worth.

    Received back my first fab of some of the boards from DirtyPCB. Looks like I have several silk screen issues to work.

    Sorry for the lighting glare. My workbench is in a basement and in order to get a legible photo I have to put a light right beside the PCB.

  • Renamed QFN-28 Boards

    My current QFN-28 boards are designed with 3mm QFN-28 chips. If you have a QFN-28 that is a different size, it will not work with these boards. I have renamed the files to include this info.

could be very useful when, for instance, upgrading diskrom in a old commodore drive aswell
