It has been a really busy couple weeks. I am trying to get prepared for the Maker Faire in Pittsburgh. Sadly I don't think I will have the demo robot driving around in time, but it should be close and will demonstrate the idea pretty well. Maker Faire has been a good goal to strive for and it really pushed me to get some things done sooner. But at the end of the day I can't rush the design for Maker Faire.

If you happen to be in the area come check out my booth and say hello. I would love to get more people opinion on the design and how I could improve it.

You can drive it with any number 35 sprockets. Placing two sprockets of any size on a shaft with the correct spacing is the basic idea. You could used either drive sprockets, or idler sprockets depending on what you want. My goal was to keep the drive components cheap and easily available in many sizes. Hope that answers your question.

Awesome project, glad someone is finally doing this!  I'm thinking about making a tracked vehicle, do you have a reference design for drive wheels and idlers to go with your track?  Keep up the good work!
