My father sufer this pathology, which makes that he stop breathing during the sleep, if he doesn´t wake up inmediately, the brain damages will be irrevercible. Thats why I would like to develop a sensor which detects when an episode has started and a way to wake up the pacient in a non aggresive form. This could save many lives and return the peace during the sleep to many families.

sleep is also very important. Continually waking someone up isn't a good solution. Better is to keep the airway open.

Diagnosing sleep apnea is very important and your device can help with that! !

There is already a machine specifically designed for treating sleep apnea without waking you up (which would be detrimental to sleep outcomes). I have two family members who use them.
