Now SDuino is on your wrist!

A project log for SD card sized board, let's say "SDuino"!

Once I was excited to see Intel's announce that they will release "SD card sized computer" but it was not true. This time I made it true!

Now SDuino can be on your wrist!!

It is a base unit, consisting of Lipo charging circuit with small LiPo battery.

Battery charging is through USB interface, and during charge, red LED turns, and

After full charge, LED turns GREEN, and charging circuit will stop charging current. Details can be found in the following movie... Have fun!

Nice! I would prefer this over an Apple watch.

Nice! What chip did you use for charging? Can't you "hide" the charging circuit under the SD card? and what about turning it 90 degrees? Cool stuff!

Thank you for comment! The charging chip is TP4057 (Chinese made, I guess some major chip second source). Yeah, actually I also notice the direction should be 90 deg shift (after finishing everything..). I want to make another prototype but please enjoy "conceptual prototype" for this time. Thank you again!

I always enjoy "conceptual prototypes" :) that TP4057 is, if I remember correctly, on those cheap USB rechargers as well. Nice nice. Sorry for the 90 degrees comment, I couldn't resist, although obvious. I really like this project!
