this thing is great! it helps me sleep so much because there is a lot of light from the street. i want to add something to pull the curtain up as an alarm. I will add a picture later of me sitting on the middle.

Thank you! Just cardboard and hot glue. The arch contributes greatly to the strength and stability. When i sit on it, amazingly, it only sags 1/4n inch! If i build another one i will make a few full length beams. These were a few smaller pieces that i glued together.
